Performance Communications Launches Technology Division

Automotive and sports specialist, Performance Communications has today announced the launch of its new, dedicated Technology division.

The Technology specialism will be led by new hire, Jamie Ivory, who brings a wealth of experience to Performance Communications, having previously worked at B2B & consumer tech specialists Brands2Life and Hotwire.

The agency employs 45 consultants across its two offices in Kingston-Upon-Thames and Dubai to service clients on a global, regional and local level.

The move is described as a natural one by Performance Communications Co-founder, Andy Francis: “Technology has always been the common factor between our specialisms of sport and automotive.

“As a result, we’re already playing in the space for a number of clients, so it’s a natural progression to expand and evolve our offering into another specialist area.”

Ivory will lead the agency’s new business growth as it targets emerging technology brands, in addition to established players diversifying their range of products and services.

Charlie Raincock, Co-founder added: “We have always been resolute in our determination not to dilute our two specialist areas. However, the ever-increasing role played by technology in driving change in both the sport and automotive industries means we already have a level of fluency. We’re really excited to see where it leads.

“When we undertook our Future of the Sports Fan study, we began to understand just how influential technology has been in the evolution of fan behaviour and the delivery of sports content. We see no signs of this slowing any time soon.”

The agency counts the likes of Jaguar Land Rover, Citroen, Maserati, Triumph Motorcycles and Goodwood Festival of Speed amongst its roster of clients.
