Are you a self-starter looking to join the UK’s leading automotive communications agency? After a recent spate of new business wins we have an exciting new role to support a well known, premium automotive brand with a truly global reach.

We’re looking for an individual that has experience working in the worlds of luxury, tech or automotive. This is a pan-European brief so EMEA experience would be preferred.

The successful candidate will work in close alignment with marketing, product planning, agency partners, and other key regional and global functions to develop and deploy integrated strategic communications programmes.

Located at Performance Communications, Kingston-Upon-Thames, but with regular travel to Frankfurt, Zurich and in key markets.

Key accountabilities
 Responsible for the overall execution of rolling 12-month strategic PR communication plans
 Help to develop the long-term communications plan, with a holistic PR approach including print, broadcast, online, social media and events
 Be the point person for the clients, including PR, Marketing and Events, including related agency partners
 Coordinate and manage local market activity, working directly with the client and local market consultants to maximise results
 Team management and motivation to ensure that the team meets the client brief, including deadlines and goals to a standard that is expected of Performance Communications

Leadership & management behavioural competencies

 Strong communicator and able to upwards manage as well as delegate work effectively to three junior staff
 Ability to nurture and build the experiences of team members
 An appetite for progression and leading by example across all CSR matters
 Ability to work in a fluid and fast-paced environment and adapt to working whilst travelling either abroad or within the UK
 Quick learner, adaptable and pragmatic thinker, whilst being tenacious, results driven and resilient
 Highly motivated and committed
 Culturally sensitive and adaptable, whilst being an approachable team player
 Takes initiative and able to work autonomously and conducts themselves in a professional manner at all times
 Able to make recommendations to the client and senior team members
 Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to support the agency in its growth
 Represent your team within the agency environment at company team meetings
