Performance Communications has been appointed by Andersen, a British manufacturer and installer of high-end electric vehicle charge points to handle its integrated Marketing and Communications programme.

Addressing the booming electric vehicle market, Andersen, which recently became a recommended provider for Porsche GB, is the leading style-conscious home charger on the market for those who want more than a ‘box for the wall’.

Andersen becomes the latest addition to Performance’s growing Technology Division. Since the division’s launch in April last year, Performance has been retained by autonomous mobility company, Oxbotica, Israeli augmented reality start-up, Ride On and electric commercial vehicle technology supplier, Tevva and big data tech start-up Regulaition.

This growth has been led by Head of Technology, Jamie Ivory, who was hired from specialist agency, Brands2Life to build upon Performance’s tech foundations across both its Sport and Automotive verticals, for the likes of Playsightand Nissan LEAF.

Ivory comments: “We are thrilled to have secured the Andersen business. The brand’s product range clearly stands out within the market, uniquely blending smart-home technology with high-end functional design.

“This a great way to celebrate the division’s first year of operation and reinforces our ambition to combine specialisms to offer a unique proposition for both start-ups and established tech players within the sport and automotive arenas.”

Performance counts the likes of Jaguar Land Rover, Citroën, Maserati, Triumph Motorcycles and Goodwood Festival of Speed amongst its roster of clients.
