Ross won’t mind admitting he took the scenic route to Performance Communications. His journey began in the showroom, selling cars for the likes of Ford, Alfa Romeo and Subaru. Tired of wheeler dealing, his next stop was motoring journalism where he landed his dream job, as road test editor on the UK’s biggest selling weekly car magazine.
Once the smell of overheated brake pads was out of his system, the move to PR was only a matter of time. With communication skills honed on the forecourt, a creative approach to storytelling and a passion for copy writing, Ross’s in-depth understanding of the automotive industry and love of big ideas makes him one of the first names on the creative team sheet.
A voracious appetite for sport means he’ll watch, listen to or read about pretty much any fixture or event you care to name, but you won’t find him setting any Strava records on the muddy bike he parks in the corner of the office.
His proudest Performance moment was delivered by crackly radio transmitter from a jubilant airborne photographer, confirming the biggest piece of beach art ever created in the UK.
